A new version of the old favourite specially written for the Frodsham Panto Group by producer Barbara Maddock brought together the usual characters of the seven vertically-challenged individuals vigorously portrayed by junior dancers and Snow White, charmingly portrayed by Rebecca Cullen.
A real live male principal boy, David Brow, added to the originality of the script and he, together with the good Fairy Belle delightfully played by Grace Rimmer, thwarted the intentions of the evil Queen Griselda dramatised in true pantomime style by Carol Crooks.
Roy Hayes as Muddles supplied the comedy and combined nicely with Rosemary Merry as Snow White's companion, Miss Ermintrude.
The principal line-up was completed by Simon Crooks in a variety of roles and Graham Lees as Hubert the Huntsman, who could not do the dastardly deed of disposing of Snow White.
The wardrobe department had pulled out all the stops to ensure that the show was well-costumed.
Light and sound was good and the scenes were well set.
A good tempo was maintained throughout and the dance routines were a highlight.
A good evening's entertainment by this specialist panto group who never fail to please.
